The story
A nature reserve established in 2001, protecting the limestone headland between Mondello and Sferracavallo and the marine area in front of it. It holds Mediterranean scrub, dwarf palm, endemic species and a colony of semi-wild goats. The coastal path leads to the Grotta dell'Olio and to several rocky sea access points, with particularly clear water.
