The story
A small Albergheria alley covered with murals, featuring portraits of popular Palermo figures and scenes from neighbourhood life. It is one of the most photographed points on the historic centre's informal street art circuit.
Impermanence is part of the genre: unlike a monument, a mural is not made to last and its replacement is part of the cycle.
