The story
A small raised opening concentrating three monuments from different eras: San Cataldo with its three 12th-century red domes, Santa Maria dell'Ammiraglio with its 14th-century bell tower, and the church of Santa Caterina d'Alessandria. Behind opens Piazza Pretoria with its fountain. Remains of ancient structures are visible in the embankment.
