The story
The residence of the Lanza Filangeri princes of Mirto, lived in by the same family until 1982, when it was donated to the Sicilian Region with all its furnishings. It is the only house-museum in Palermo to preserve its original arrangement: 18th-century drawing rooms, the Chinese Room with painted silk walls, the tapestry hall, the library, the kitchens and the stables with marble mangers.
