The story
An 18th-century palace of the princes of Butera, facing the Foro Italico. Bought in 2016 by collectors Massimo and Francesca Valsecchi and restored over five years, it opened to the public in 2021. It houses their collection, which juxtaposes historic and contemporary works, and leaves the restoration stratigraphy visible. The terraces and rooftop walkway offer one of the best views in the city.
