The story
A Carmelite church rebuilt in the 17th century and decorated with one of the richest displays of marmi mischi in Palermo. The façade is by Andrea Palma, also the architect of Syracuse cathedral. The altars, pilasters and dome are entirely sheathed in polychrome marble inlay. It stands a few metres from the Oratory of Santa Cita, but attracts far fewer visitors.
